I'm kind of breaking away from the normal use of this blog and decided to set up a recipe blog so anyone can see what exactly this crazy family eats every day. We are very consistent and dedicated to good health. We have a unique way of eating that has brought us health and happiness.

I was able to get my 6 year old to eat chicken tonight (it only took 30 minutes)! He actually had food for a change! Baby steps...

What was that breakfast combination?? Just like a little homemade trailmix type "snack" for breakfast?? It sounds good---I love macadamia nuts and blueberries! Target has a great trail mix with both in it.

We eat raw rolled oats almost every morning for breakfast.(straight from our food storage...very very cheap breakfast). We always add milk and agave(a low glycemic sweetner from catcus juice). Sometimes we add things on top of the oats for variety...anything from cinnamon to sunflower seeds. Whatever we are in the mood for. So yes, it does kind of sound like a trail mix but to us it is..well..a yummy yummy breakfast. (my friend adds peanut butter to hers) and Sasha eats his oats with berries, dates and peanuts.

Good luck with that 6 year old. I feel for you...I do have picky eaters and I really feel for you.

I did not get that you had that on top of you oats---that was why I was confused!!! Sounds nummy!
