I'm kind of breaking away from the normal use of this blog and decided to set up a recipe blog so anyone can see what exactly this crazy family eats every day. We are very consistent and dedicated to good health. We have a unique way of eating that has brought us health and happiness.

Breakfast: oats and strawberry yogurt

Lunch: Tuna Casserole (would have made Salmon today but Sasha wasn't in the mood for anything but tuna)

Dinner: French Toast (with homemade whole wheat bread) topped with fresh raspberries and agave syrup(we ran out of maple syrup..we'll have to wait until I go to Costco next week)

Dessert: Kids bought themselves all sorts of treats at Good Earth with their compensation packet for Heart of Holladay.

Everytime I ready that you use Agave Syrup it makes me what to ask you what do you think of sourgum (sourgam?) Or what other semi-refined sugars might you recommend. I love Good Earth treats. I vote for those sesame/honey crunch square thingys and Havalah. MMM.

No opinion on sorgam...actually I've been happy with agave for my syrupy sugar replacement and with crystallized fructose for my crystal sugar replacement. I think you have to research it yourself and try it out on your body and see how you feel. Sasha would say "Go for a run and see how you feel".

I like sorghum. My grandma used to make some great sorghum cookies. I don't know if it is healthy or not, but it is grown sometimes in the midwest. It is a little thicker than honey and has a distinct taste to it. If you have ever seen the movie Hoosiers, then you have seen them processing it.
